Have any of you heard about CRISPR-Cas9? It is a fairly new gene editing technology that could change the world forever, no joke, a lot of scientists are very hesitant about it because it is the first functional “gene drive” manipulator, which was previously only theoretical. Basically, it would allow us to manipulate genes throughout future generations.

“Named for their ability to “drive” themselves and nearby genes through populations over many generations, gene drives can spread even if they reduce the fitness of individual organisms.”

Used positively, we could eradicate genetic disorders and diseases, maybe even program future generation for high intellect and compassion, or at least great vision… but it is also very dangerous, as we have no idea what the side effects could be. fascinating stuff if you ask me…

I read an article about that. I hope they don’t get rid of autism.
